- Advanced Chorus

and changed voices
- Intermediate Chorus

- Musicianship Class
grades 2-3
Well over one hundred and 50 choristers come from almost 40 towns in 6 counties of New Jersey.
During its 10th Anniversary year and going forward, the New Jersey Youth Chorus committed to a “Kids for Kids” theme, whereby the Chorus seeks opportunities to perform and assist children’s organizations and charities. To date they have helped raise funds for children of September 11 victims, for children needing open heart surgery in India and participated in fundraising for The Matheny School and the American Cancer Society.
Our annual concerts are held during the winter holiday season and in the spring. The Chorus also performs with professional orchestras, for a variety of civic and corporate functions, and for community clubs and other organizations.
The Advanced Chorus performs frequently with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra at the NJ Performing Arts Center. Most recently they collaborated on The Lord of the Rings Symphony and the Home for the Holidays Pops Concert. They have also sung with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and Mendelssohn Club Chorus in Philadelphia, performed in concert with world-renowned tenor, Ronan Tynan, and appeared on the “Today Show”.
The Advanced Chorus has also participated in numerous festivals in Hawaii, Oregon, Canada and England, to name a few.
